Have you ever thought of the possibility of having internet powered washing machines? Nobody shows any interest in integrating the many systems with the main objective of energy saving.
Therefore, as much as the inventors and the scientists like to tell us many future possible technologies in washing machines, serious training is needed. Indeed it is true to note that as much as a big percentage of the progress we anticipate in future is technology oriented, education plays a crucial role.
Just as it is difficult to keep up with technological advancements in many things like computers and other electronic devices, washing machines are also playing their part as they continue to have more computers in them than ever before. The main areas targeted in the modifications are energy saving and the efficiency of the machine in general. For instance, there is now no need to put separate baskets of clothing before washing as there exists a basket washing machine that washes and dries the clothes as well. It is an all in one washer/ hamper/ drier that is fully automatic and has Wi-Fi which enables one to operate from a distance. When washing is complete, this machine automatically sends alert via text message or email to the owner’s phone. Currently there are modern washing machines that have USB ports that can be connected to domestic networks or the internet. Pretty soon, even these will be old news!
Although some of these may not be seen now, they are going to make washing in the near future, not just simpler and more interesting but also much cheaper, energy efficient and less harmful to the environment. With such machines on their way, the future is worth waiting for!
